My Experience with the End-of-Semester English Exam
Preparing for the Exam
As the end of the semester approached, I found myself feeling increasingly nervous about the English exam. I knew that it was going to be a comprehensive test, covering all of the material we had learned throughout the semester, so I started preparing early. I spent hours reviewing the notes I had taken in class, going over the vocabulary, grammar rules, and sentence structures that we had studied. I also practiced writing essays, using prompts that I found online so that I could get a sense of the types of questions I might have to answer. The Day of the Exam
When the day of the exam arrived, I woke up early and made sure that I had everything I needed: my ID, pencils, erasers, and a calculator. I tried to stay calm during the test, focusing on the questions and taking deep breaths whenever I started to feel overwhelmed. At times, I found myself struggling to remember specific grammar rules or vocabulary words, but I did my best to work through those moments and move on to the next question. The Aftermath
