李夫人游览虎丘小记

一、虎丘山上的经历

唐朝时代，我夫君李白就曾经来过虎丘山游玩。那时我还是一个十分年轻的女子，没有机会随行。如今已经是自由了身的寡妇，心里倍感无聊，借着这个机会前往虎丘山游玩。

满山青翠，山脚有远古的木栈道。顺着栈道爬上，听到那瀑布的轰鸣声，我不由得驻足欣赏。山头上的亭子非常漂亮，四下飘散着淡淡的桂花香。山上偶有飞瀑泄流，蔓延成了一座座飞流直下的瀑布。

二、游览虎丘寺的感受

虎丘寺在虎丘山的山顶上，是南京一处有名的古迹。寺内佛像殿堂密布，文化底蕴十分深厚。我最喜欢的是那个秃山草堂，草堂舍旁边是冷泉，泉水清澈见底，环境清幽，从草堂的墙角探出头来，可以极目环顾，那一片山光水色，非常壮观。我在草堂里拜读了许多佛经，感受到那种虔诚和平静。藏经楼里那几位禅师和尚也非常友好，我向他们请教了不少问题。

三、品尝虎丘美食

虎丘山下有玄武美食街，商户数量众多，这里有螺蛳粉、鸭血粉丝汤、烤鸭等等南京传统的美食。我特别喜欢螺蛳粉，酸爽味美，这感觉真是十分奇特。烤鸭也非常鲜美，配上酱料，口感更加丰富。这几道美食绝对不会让你失望！

这次游览让我收获颇丰，我深深地爱上了这座山城，下次还会再来的。

The Musings of Mrs. Li on her Visit to Huqiu Hill

1. My experience on Huqiu Hill

During the Tang Dynasty, my husband Li Bai had visited Huqiu Hill and I, being a young lady back then, had no opportunity to accompany him. Now that I am a widow and free to travel, boredom had set in, which prompted me to visit Huqiu Hill.

The lush greenery on the hill, with the ancient wooden walkways, was a sight to behold. I paused to listen to the roaring sound of the waterfall as I walked up the path. The pavilions at the top of the hill were truly gorgeous, wafting the faint fragrance of osmanthus. Here and there, there were waterfalls cascading down the mountain, forming breathtaking scenes.

2. My impressions of Huqiu Temple

Huqiu Temple sits atop Huqiu Hill and is a well-known antique in Nanjing. The temple houses multiple halls for Buddha statues, making it a place steeped in culture. My favorite spot was the Thatched Cottage of Lu Shan, where a cold spring is located right next to it. The crystal-clear water of the spring was just beautiful. The tranquil surroundings and the mountain views from the corner of the cottage made the place feel like a peaceful sanctuary. I spent time here reading the scriptures and felt the piety and tranquility present almost everywhere in this temple. The monks at the scripture house were friendly and helpful, and I asked them many questions on Buddhism.

3. Sampling the Food of Huqiu Hill

At the foot of Huqiu Hill is Xuanwu Food Street, where there are many vendors offering traditional Nanjing dishes, including snail noodles, duck blood vermicelli soup, and roast duck. I especially savored the snail noodles for its sour and refreshing taste. The roast duck was heavenly, especially when accompanied by the sauces, which made the flavors even more divine. I guarantee that these dishes will not disappoint!

This trip has been a rewarding experience, and I fell deeply in love with this mountain city. I will definitely come back again.
